Paula O. Burgess’ current practice focuses solely on estate planning, probate, the administration of trusts and estates and guardianships and conservatorships. She provides services to client of modest estates and also to those with large estates requiring sophisticated planning. Because of her expertise in this area, she has been a frequent guest on KFNN 1510AM Money Radio, Phoenix, Arizona, and asked to present seminars for local businesses and other groups.
Ms. Burgess has been practicing law since 1993 and is admitted to the Arizona State Bar and the Federal District Court of Arizona. She is a former disciplinary counsel for the Arizona Commission on Judicial Conduct, the agency charged with investigating judges for misconduct, and also serves as a pro-tem judge for Mesa Municipal Court and Tempe Municipal Court. Ms. Burgess is a former Arizona Assistant Attorney General in the child support enforcement division.
A recipient of the Alan A. Matheson Service Award by the ASU College of Law in 1993 for her volunteer service, Ms. Burgess continues to volunteer for a variety of local organizations and schools.
Prior to her legal career, she worked as a communications professional for several companies in the Phoenix area, including the Salt River Project.
